Allison Dickinson
Craftmaker and shaker based in Baltimore
Allison holds a degree in Interior Design from Parsons School of Design in NYC. She is also the founder of the former
Paper-Rock-Scissors art gallery in Hampden, a vibrant neighborhood in Baltimore, where she exhibited her
hand-painted porcelain and ceramic pieces. In the early nineties, she and her dear friend opened The Coop in
Butler, MD and represented over 100+ artists nationwide.
With years of experience in artistic expression, she now channels her passion into her latest venture, MatMakers. Allison transforms solid colored woven placemats into canvases of color, texture and style. Each placemat is hand-beaded with an assemblage of baubles and beads from sources worldwide. Discover how her vision can elevate and accentuate your personal dining experience, your entertaining finesse and your gift-giving ingenuity!
Surround yourself with art-based home goods; you'll thank yourself for it!
