A prospective client contacted me and asked for a set of eight custom placemats for her dining room. She sent me the fabric to use as inspiration (left). Enthused about the wide range of colors, the African nuances and the exotic feel, I selected beads that would capture the essence of the fabric. A neutral background provided the perfect canvas!
